Biographical Information[edit]
John Rypel has been a college coach.
Rypel was pitching coach at Morristown East High School in 2006, then spent four seasons as pitching coach and recruiting coordinator for Maryville College. In 2011, he became head coach of Gordon College, leading the team to 8 wins. After four seasons at Gordon, Rypel became head coach at Calvin College in 2015. In 2019 Rypel moved to the University of Alabama at Birmingham as Director of Operations. He then became head coach at Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2020-2022.
