Biographical Information[edit]
Both John O'Donoghue and his son John O'Donoghue, Jr. pitched one year for the Baltimore Orioles. Dad pitched 9 years total in the major leagues, and was named to the All-Star team in 1965, representing the Kansas City Athletics. He led the American League in losses that year with 18.
O'Donoghue was pitching coach of the Frederick Keys in 1991-1992 and Bowie BaySox in 1993-1994. He coached his son in 1991.
