Biographical Information[edit]
John Joslin played in the minor leagues from 1946 to 1951. In his rookie season, he hit .340 with 14 triples in 78 games for the Richmond Roses; two years later he hit .314 in 46 games between two clubs and in 1949, he hit .304 in 54 games between two teams. He had been in the Marines and got a Purple Heart from the battle for Iwo Jima.
