Biographical Information[edit]
John Jackson pitched 10 games for the 1933 Phillies. He was five years younger than teammate Chuck Klein.
Jackson had attended Overbook High School and Staunton Military Academy, and then attended the University of Pennsylvania beginning in 1929. He played both baseball and basketball in 1931-33.
After time in the Army, he joined a clothing firm run by his father and became an executive there.
