John Ivan

John Ivan was an infielder for Team Canada in the 1982 Amateur World Series (.387/.407/.710, 10th in average), 1983 Intercontinental Cup, 1983 Pan American Games (tied for first with two steals) and 1984 Olympics. He was the MVP of the 1984 Haarlem Baseball Week, won by Canada. He was also a regular at third base for the Toronto Maple Leafs in the Intercounty Baseball League in the 1980s. His wife Barbara Berezowski-Ivan was an Olympic figure skater. John's sons Brian and Jarrod both played for the Toronto Maple Leafs as well.
