John Cate
John Cate has been a minor league manager and college coach.
Cate was coach of Richmond High School from 1986-1995. He was an owner and manager of the Richmond Roosters, going 165-151 in five seasons as the team's skipper. He retired as a teacher in Richmond after 33 years but returned to Richmond High School to coach for two years (30-25). He was 445-166 overall as a high school coach. He coached at Earlham College in 2009-2010.
