Biographical Information[edit]
Johnny Scalzi was president of the Colonial League from 1948 to 1950. He was a scout for the New York Mets in 1962. When he was leaving the Polo Grounds in September after he had supervised a tryout, his car collided with another car and he died from his injuries [1].
