Biographical Information[edit]

Johana Klimuškinová was part of the first Czech women's national baseball team. She was the team's starting cleanup hitter and played first base in their opener of the 2019 European Women's Championship, singling off Emma Liminier of France her first time up and going 2-for-2 with a walk in their first game. She started the second game on the mound versus the Netherlands but walked seven of the ten batters she faced, allowing hits to the other three, before Tereza Švingrová relieved; she wound up being charged with ten runs and lost to Merle Langevoord. She hit .286/.375/.286 for the event with three runs in four games, fielding .800 and with an infinite ERA. She tied teammates Denisa Jószová and Alena Langová for the most earned runs allowed and had the worst ERA. [1]
