Joeli Saulekalekka

Joeli Saulekalekka was the starting right fielder for Fiji in the 2011 Pacific Games; with Joeli McGoon in LF, they had a 2/3 Joeli outfield. In his first at-bat, against American Samoa's Daniel Va'a, he reached on a fielder's choice. His first hit was off Va'a. He helped his team avoid a no-hitter against Palau, getting both of their hits (one off Antonio Blodak in the 2nd; he stole home later in the inning for their only run and one off L'Amour Arurang). He was 0 for 3 and drove in a run in their 8-7 win over American Samoa in the 5th/6th place game. He hit .176/.222/.176 for the Games, with two runs and one RBI in six games; he almost matched the team average of .174.
