Biographical Information

Joe Yonto has had several roles in his baseball career.

Yonto umpired in the Appalachian League and Midwest League and for 15 years in NCAA Division I, including eight Big East Conference tournaments. He was assistant coach at South Bend Washington High School for two years and head coach of St. Joseph High School for three years. He worked for the Western Baseball League for five years and as a Vision Trainer for the Cleveland Indians for five years. In 2006, he became head coach of Ancilla College, a role he held until 2018.
