Joe Hudak

Joe Hudak was a college coach.

Hudak was a shortstop and pitcher in college. He was head coach of Geneva College from 1981-1987 and 1989, going 203-137. From 1989-1991, he was an assistant at Mississippi State University, including a trip to the 1990 College World Series. He then became head coach at Winthrop University in 1992, winning over 800 games. He topped 40 wins in 1995, 1999, 2001, 2005 and 2006. He helped develop the first three major leaguers from the program - Kevin Slowey, Carl Dale and Chris Leroux. He retired after the 2010 season.
