Biographical Information[edit]

Joe Horgan pitched for the US in the 1995 World Junior Championship. He was 2-0 with a 0.84 ERA, the best on the team among hurlers with 10+ IP. He appeared in 47 games for the Montreal Expos out of the bullpen in 2004 and had a record of 4-1 with a 3.15 ERA. He collected only one hit in his career - a single off Kip Wells in his first big league at-bat. He then briefly played for the Washington Nationals in 2005 but was hit hard and was sent down to the minor leagues, never to return.

Horgan last played for the Albuquerque Isotopes of the Pacific Coast League in 2006.
