Joseph Patrick Cronin

Biographical Information[edit]

Joe Cronin played college ball at Boston College and earned a degree in communications. The Minnesota Twins drafted Cronin in the 34th round of the 2016 Amateur Draft and he played in their minor league system from 2016-2019. In his minor league career Cronin served as a utility player with second base his most frequent defensive position. Overall he hit .206/.329/.324 while appearing in 239 games.

Following his playing career, Cronin joined the Boston Red Sox organization as a player development intern in 2021. The next year he returned to the diamond as the development coach for the Greenville Drive.
