Biographical Information[edit]
3B/OF Joe Consoli played minor league ball from 1938 to 1950, missing the 1942-1945 seasons. He reached the class A Central League in 1950, the highest he would reach. Consoli came back to O.B. in 1953-1954 as a player/manager.
Consoli was a scout for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1964 to 1974, the last three years as a supervisor. He returned to the scouting crew from 1983 through at least 1986. He signed John Smiley and Tim Drummond.
