Biographical Information[edit]
Joe Castiglione is a broadcaster who has announced games of the Boston Red Sox on the radio since 1983. He previously covered the 1979 Indians, 1981 Brewers and 1982 Indians and has also announced games for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA. He has written a couple of books.
In 2023, he was named the winner of the Ford Frick Award for excellence in broadcasting and will be honored as part of the 2024 Hall of Fame induction ceremonies.
