Biographical Information[edit]
Joe "Jazzbow" Buskey played five games in the majors in April 1926 for the Philadelphia Phillies. A shortstop, he did not win the job and Heinie Sand wound up playing 149 games. No other shortstop on the team had more than 5 games at the position that year. Joe played in the minors from 1923-1932 and died at 46 in 1949.
