Biographical Information

Joe Broussard has been in the minors of the Los Angeles Dodgers organization since 2014, spending parts of four seasons in AAA ball. Although his minor league ERA during 2014-2019 has been a good 3.31, and although he had a 3.12 ERA in 57 games at the AAA level in 2018, he has yet to get into a major league game.

Joe was born in New Orleans, LA and attended college at Louisiana State University. He was drafted in the 15th round of the 2014 Amateur Draft. For each complete season in the 2014-18 period, his yearly ERA was always 3.80 or under (except for the one year when it was 3.80, it was always 3.35 or under) and his WHIP never rose above 1.266. After several fine seasons, 2019 was a tough year for Joe as he was injured for much of the season, getting into only 26 games total, of which 5 were rehab appearances.
