Joe Biros began his pro baseball career in 1942. He hit .312 for the York White Roses in 1944 but missed the next season while serving in World War II. He returned after the war, and with the Bridgeport Bees in 1947, he led the Colonial League with 32 doubles.
Following his playing days, Biros was a high school coach and Pittsburgh Pirates scout.
