Biographical Information

Jin Minakawa played for Nippon Life Insurance in the industrial leagues after college. He made the Japanese national team for the 2019 Asian Championship. He hit .571/.625/.857 with four RBI and four runs in five games for Japan. In the Gold Medal Game, he hit 5th and played center, going 1 for 4 before Takumi Horikoshi replaced him in a 4-5 loss over Taiwan.
