Biographical Information[edit]
Jin-kyu Kim played in the Korea Baseball Organization for 6 years.
Kim played for the South Korean national team in the 1985 Asian Championship. The Pacific Dolphins signed him in 1985, and he was 11-for-46 in his first season. He hit .242/.308/.349 in 1986, and he recorded a .202/.280/.313 batting line in 1987. Kim played a career-high 103 games with a .245/.354/.379, but he only played 19 more games before the Dolphins released him in 1993.
Overall, Kim hit .229/.320/.347 with 140 hits in 6 seasons in the KBO.
