Biographical Information

Jimmy Moran played three years of college ball at the Community College of Baltimore County and the University of South Florida before the Cincinnati Reds drafted him in the 18th round of the 2011 amateur draft. Moran pitched in the Reds minor league system from 2011-2016. He finished his playing career in the Atlanta Braves system in 2016. Moran completed his bachelor's degree in criminology in 2017.

Moran has worked as an amateur scout for the Reds since 2016. He was also scheduled to be the AZL Reds bench coach in 2020 before the minor league season was cancelled due to COVID-19.
