Jim Peeples (college)

Jim Peeples has been a college coach.

Peeples played both baseball and football in college. He coached Westminster's football team in 1988-1989, winning two straight NAIA titles. In 1991-1992, he coached for Wesleyan University. assistant coach at Methodist College from 1993-2001, with the school finishing second in the 1995 Division III College World Series. In 2002, he became head coach of Piedmont College.

Peeples took Piedmont to the 2002 and 2003 NCCAA College World Series. In 2008, the school went 34-14 to win the Great South Athletic Conference. Peeples was named GSAC Coach of the Year as Piedmont went to the NCAA postseason for the first time. In 2011, he led his team to the GSAC title again, winning another Coach of the Year honor. He has won over 240 games as head coach of Piedmont.
