Biographical Information[edit]

Jim Miller was a college coach.

Miller was basketball coach of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater from 1975-1978 and their baseball coach from 1987-2003. He went 416-226-4 to set the school record for career wins. He won several Coach of the Year honors. He took Whitewater to the 1989 Division III College World Series, the school's first appearance in the Series. He led the Warhawks to seven NCAA Division III tournament appearances, and 11 of his players signed professional contracts including Bob Wickman.

In 2003, the year he retired, Miller was inducted into the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame. Four years later, Miller was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame.
