Biographical Information

Jim Garland Jr., son of scout Jim Garland, played briefly for the 1973 Kingsport Royals. He was 5 for 24 with three walks, two runs and a RBI offensively. On the hill, he pitched two innings and allowed four walks, two hits and five runs while fanning two; he was 0-1, losing his lone start. He fielded .935 in 10 games at second base.
