Biographical Information

Jim DeBell was a college coach. He coached and taught in the Rochester City School District and was a recommending scout for the Cincinnati Reds. He was head coach at SUNY Brockport from 1989-1996, finishing second in school history with 87 career wins. He was SUNYAC Coach of the Year in 1992. He remained active as a professor at Brockport after his coaching career ended. His son Jimmy DeBell has been a NFL referee.
