Biographical Information

Pitcher Jim Casey was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the seventh round of the 2003 amateur draft and played three seasons in their organization. He also played in the independent leagues in 2006. He then went to Rice University, where he played football. He was drafted by the Houston Texans of the NFL in 2009 and started 9 games for the team in 2012.
