Biographical Information

Relief pitcher Jesus Sanchez began his professional career in 2016 at 17 years old, after being signed by Miami Marlins scouts Luis Cordoba and Albert Gonzalez. He pitched for the DSL Marlins from 2016 to 2018, going 2-1 with a 1.47 ERA in 17 relief appearances in 2018; he allowed just 18 hits in 30 2/3 innings. He moved stateside in 2019, going 0-2 with a 3.75 ERA and 10.5 K/9 IP ratio in 14 games for the GCL Marlins. After not pitching in 2020, he went 7-3, 4.68 with 84 strikeouts in 65 1/3 innings for the Jupiter Hammerheads in 2021.
