Jerry Lafferty was a Philadelphia Phillies scout for over 25 years. He most notably pushed the Phillies to sign Ryan Howard. He also signed future major leaguer Jake Diekman in the 30th round, Tyler Cloyd in the 18th round, Mike Zagurski in the 12th round and Josh Outman in the 10th round.
