Biographical Information[edit]

Jeremy McGarity was drafted in the 13th round by the St. Louis Cardinals in 1989. He spent his first five season in the Cardinals system, topping out in A ball. He began as a starting pitcher, but was moved to the bullpen in 1993, starting only 7 of the 34 games he appeared in that season.

After leaving the Cardinals chain following the 1994 season, he spent the next three years in the independent Northern League, but returned in 1998 to pitch in three games for the Charlotte Rangers (Texas Rangers A ball club). His final record in Organized Baseball was 23-42 with an ERA of 4.15; he was 26-16 in the weaker indies.
