Jeremy Kapstein was a player agent and San Diego Padres CEO who later was a senior adviser to the Boston Red Sox. In 2010, he ran for lieutenant governor of Rhode Island as a Democrat. He is the cousin of major leaguer Scott Schoeneweis and the uncle of minor leaguer Zach Kapstein.
