Jeff Sziksai is a college coach.
Sziksai is listed in his Lincoln Memorial University bio (2010) as the 1997 Southern Conference All-Conference 2B and the Conference leader in RBI in 1998; the 1998 and 1999 Baseball Almanacs do not confirm these claims. The New York Yankees took Sziksai in the 22nd round of the 1998 amateur draft. Assigned to the GCL Yankees, he hit .224/.300/.256 and fielded .957 as their starter at second base.
In 2000-2001, Sziksai was an assistant coach at Western Carolina University. He moved to Old Dominion University in 2002-2003. In 2004, he became head coach of Lincoln Memorial University. Taking over a five-win team, he had guided the team to back-to-back 30 win seasons within six years. After 451 wins and 17 seasons, he stepped down so he could spend more evenings with his family.
