Biographical Information

Relief pitcher Jeff Ibarra has played in the San Diego Padres minor league system since 2009 (through 2014). He was taken by the club in the 23rd round of that year's draft.

One of his best campaigns to date was 2012, when he posted a 0.99 ERA in 31 appearances between the AZL Padres, Lake Elsinore Storm and San Antonio Missions. The next year, he had a 6.96 mark between the Missions and Triple-A Tucson Padres. In his first taste of Triple-A action, he had a 30.86 ERA in 2 games.

He began 2014 with San Antonio.
