Biographical Information

Pitcher Jeff Gray was signed as a free agent for the Philadelphia Phillies by scout Andy Seminick on June 14, 1984.

In the midst of a fine breakout season with the Boston Red Sox in 1991, Gray suffered a stroke on July 30th and never played another game in the Major Leagues.

Gray was pitching coach of the Sarasota Red Sox in 1996-1997.
