Biographical Information[edit]
Jeff Bronkey was born in Kabul, Afghanistan in 1965. He was a teammate of Pete Incaviglia and Doug Dascenzo at Oklahoma State in the middle 1980s. Later, in his rookie year in 1993, he was a teammate of Dascenzo along with Juan Gonzalez, Jose Canseco, and Rafael Palmeiro on the Texas Rangers, at a time when George W. Bush was associated with the team. In 45 big league games, split between the Rangers and Milwaukee Brewers over 1993 to 1995, Jeff was 2-2 with 2 saves and a 4.04 ERA
