Jay Artigues

Jay Artigues is a college coach.

Artigues was assistant coach at Spring Hill College in 1992-1993, then was head baseball coach at St. Louis Catholic High School from 1994-1996. He was head coach at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in 1997-1998. He was assistant coach at the University of New Orleans in 1998. From 1999-2001, he was 107-57 as head coach at Bossier Parish Community College. He set a school record for 46 wins his last year.

Jay then returned to his alma mater, Pearl River Community College, and went 168-51 there. He set a school record with 42 wins in 2002 and his 2003 team was ranked #1 nationally for a time. In 2006, he became head coach at Southeastern Louisiana University. He was 23-32 his first year, then went 34-21 in 2007, the first winning record by the school in nine years. They went 32-27 in 2008. After the 2013 season, Artigues became athletic director at SELU, and was replaced as baseball coach by Matt Riser.
