Outfielder Jason Sehorn was signed by the Chicago Cubs as an undrafted free agent in 1990, despite playing only one season of American Legion baseball. He spent the summer with the Huntington Cubs, posting a .184/.254/.248 line in 141 plate appearances. He fielded .944, stole 9 bases in 10 tries and struck out in a whopping 52 of 125 at-bats.
Sehorn then pursued a football career, first at Shasta College, then at the University of Southern California. He was a 2nd round pick in the 1994 NFL Draft [1] by the New York Giants. He spent 1994-2002 playing defensive back for the Giants, before moving to the St. Louis Rams for his last season in 2003. He appeared in Super Bowl XXXV in January of 1991 with the Giants.
