Biographical Information

jason Rice was traded by the Boston Red Sox to the Oakland Athletics on September 1, 2011 and was immediately placed on the active roster. Before appearing in a game, however, he was claimed on waivers by the Cleveland Indians on September 6th. The following day he was assigned to the Columbus Clippers.
