Biographical Information[edit]

Jason Motte was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 19th round of the 2003 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Joe Rigoli and made his pro debut that summer as a catcher. After hitting .188/.217/.231 from 2003-2005, Motte became a pitcher in 2006.
