Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Jason Kanzler played in the Minnesota Twins' chain in 2013-2015. He hit .249/.315/.405; the speedster had 23 triples and 131 runs in 255 games, stealing 57 bases in 74 tries. He fielded .986 and had 28 outfield assists.
Kanzler was an assistant coach at Katy High School. He was then hitting coach of the Fayetteville Woodpeckers in 2019. He was scheduled to be hitting coach of the Corpus Christi Hooks in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to Covid-19. In 2021, he was a minor league hitting coordinator and in 2022 was appointed to the major league coaching staff, staying until the end of the 2023 season.
