Biographical Information[edit]

Jamin Huchingson pitched in the minors for two years; his brother Chase Huchingson also played professionally.

Jamin was taken by the Chicago White Sox in the 37th round of the 2002 amateur draft, right after Ricky Romero and Tim Gradoville and right before Jon Riggleman. Jamin allowed 3 runs in 7 innings for the 2002 AZL White Sox. With the 2003 Bristol White Sox, the tall righty was 0-1 with 14 hits, 11 walks and 16 runs in 7 2/3 IP. He had more wild pitches (3) and hit batsmen (3) than strikeouts (2). He finished his pro career 0-1 with a 10.43 ERA in 13 games, with a WHIP of 2.11.
