Biographical Information[edit]
James D. Groninger was a minor league baseball figure in the early 1900s. In 1906, he served as the manager of the Uniontown Coal Barons, leading them to a Pennsylvania-Ohio-Maryland League championship. He served as the president of the Class-D Pennsylvania-West Virginia League in 1908 and 1909.
He also played here-and-there in the 1900s.
