Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder James Alo was the youngest position player on the American Samoa national team in the 1999 Oceania Championship; they did have a couple pitchers who were 16 years old. [1] He hit .222 (4 for 18) in the 2003 South Pacific Games but scored nine runs and drove in three for the Silver Medalists. He also pitched two innings (4 K, 3 BB, 0 H, 0 R). He tied Roman Duenas and teammates Duke Solaita and Stanley Filiaga for 2nd in the Games in runs, two behind Henry Santos III. [2]
