Biographical Information[edit]
Jake O'Donnell began his umpiring career in the New York-Penn League in 1964-1965. He moved to the Southern League in 1966-1968, then was an American League umpire from September 1968 to 1971. O'Donnell was the second base umpire in the 1971 All-Star Game.
O'Donnell also was an NBA official for 29 years, and he is the only man to be the umpire/official at an All-Star Game in Major League Baseball and the NBA and also an ALCS.
