Biographical Information[edit]

Second baseman Jake Noll was a top-rated college baseball player with Florida Gulf Coast University. In his first season with the school, 2014, he slashed .367/.416/.440 with 56 runs, 101 hits and 25 stolen bases in 61 games to earn the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper/Louisville Slugger Freshman Player of the Year honor. He was also Louisville Slugger Third-Team All-American, a NCBWA 2014 Freshman First-Team All-American, the Atlantic Sun Conference Freshman of the Year, an all-conference player and a member of the conference All-Freshman team. With the Lakeshore Chinooks of the Northwoods League that summer, he hit .316 with 20 steals in 54 games. In 2015, he hit .348/.406/.423 with 79 hits, 15 stolen bases and 41 RBI in 55 games. He was named Atlantic Sun Conference All-Conference Second Team. He played for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks of the Cape Cod League that summer and hit .326 in 36 games to earn All-Cape Cod League honors. Entering 2016, he was ranked the #2 prospect for 2016 amateur draft, behind Mitchell Jordan of Stetson University. D1Baseball.com ranked him the #99 prospect overall.

The Washington Nationals drafted him in the seventh round of the 2016 amateur draft.
