Biographical Information[edit]

Jake Loye has been a college coach.

Loye hit .339 in his collegiate career and also won six games as a pitcher his senior year. In 2011, he played for three independent minor league teams in two different leagues. He opened the year with the Carlsbad Bats (17 K, 2.00 WHIP, 5.25 ERA in 7 G; 1 for 2 at the plate). He then was with the New York Federals (0-4, 5.02) before being traded to the Brockton Rox for cash; he had a 3-2, 3.80 record for Brockton to finish his pro career at 3-6, 4.41 in 28 games.

In 2014, he took over the reigns of Rockingham Community College as interim coach after having been assistant coach in 2012-2013. In 2015, he was named permanent head coach. He was only there one year in that role, though.
