Biographical Information

Starting pitcher Jake Cose has played in the Chicago White Sox minor league system since 2011 (through 2013). He was taken by the club in the 27th round of the 2011 amateur draft.

After a rough start to his professional career - he posted a 8.18 ERA in 2011 - Cose improved in 2012, posting a 4.18 ERA in 2012. 2013 was even better, as he went 11-8 with a 3.28 ERA in 27 starts between the Kannapolis Intimidators and Winston-Salem Dash. The hurler spent the first part of 2014 on the disabled list.
