Biographical Information[edit]

Jae-ho Cho played in the Korea Baseball Organization for 9 years.

Cho was drafted by the Hyundai Unicorns in the 7th round of the 1998 KBO draft, and he went to college first. He represented South Korea in the 2001 Asian Championship, and he joined the Unicorns in 2002. Cho hit .216/.304/.375 in his first season, and he played 97 games with a .244/.306/.333 batting line in 2003. He then slumped to .204/.344/.235 in 2004, and he mainly stayed in the minors in 2005 as he only played 16 games with the big club. Cho missed the next two seasons due to military service, and he hit .223/.275/.277 in 2008. He was placed in the minor league for the rest of his career, and he only got 74 plate appearances until he announced his retirement in 2012.

Overall, Cho hit .218/.303/.299 with 111 hits and 5 homers in 9 seasons in the KBO.
