Biographical Information[edit]
Jaden Rudd has played in the minors and for the British national team.
Rudd was taken by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 7th round of the 2021 amateur draft, signing for a $197,500 bonus. The scout was Brandon Bishoff. [1] He hit .218/.386/.343 for the FCL Blue Jays that summer. Back with them the next year, he batted .203/.363/.320. As he was born in England, he played for Britain in the 2022 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers. Starting in right field for the British team, he hit .273/.467/.545 with four runs in three games as Britain won a spot in the 2023 World Baseball Classic for their first World Baseball Classic. Down 9-8 in the 9th in the clinching game, he went deep off Spain's Rhiner Cruz to tie it. He tied for 7th in the qualifiers in runs. [2]
