Biographical Information[edit]

Relief pitcher Jacob Lee began his minor league career in 2012.

He was taken by the Cleveland Indians in the 9th round of the 2012 amateur draft (he was scouted by Jason Lynn) and began his career with a 3.12 ERA in 43 1/3 innings for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers that year, averaging more than a strikeout per inning. After a down year as a starter in 2013 (0-5, 6.10 ERA), he became a reliever in 2014 and had a 3.00 ERA in 41 games. He participated in the Arizona Fall League in 2015, a level designated for well-touted prospects. 2016 was lost to injury.
