Jackie Bowen
Jackie Bowen was a scouting supervisor for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1985 to 1990. He then moved to the Cincinnati Reds as a scout in 1991. He has been a regional crosschecker for the San Francisco Giants (1995 at least), assistant scouting director for the New York Mets, and national crosschecker for the Pittsburgh Pirates (2007 through at least 2012).
His grandfather Rex Bowen was a noted scout and his great-uncle Joe Bowen also scouted. Jackie signed Randy Tomlin for the Pirates.
